International Ice Sculptures in Breckenridge

Hi lovebugs-
This past weekend was The International Ice Sculptures and it took place in Breckenridge. It was by far one of the coolest things I have ever seen. Teams from all over the world come and compete in carving a HUGE block of ice. Lucas and I went one night and took lots of pictures. I do have to say when I was walking around looking at these I thought of everyone back home and how you would love it...especially you Aunt Lisa. :)Enjoy.

This one was called- The Four Elements- Fire, Water, Air, Wind
The New Yorkers sculpted this - Blown Away. I was interacting with it! :)

Hey everyone-

Hope all is well tonight. Life is going good out here in CO. It has been pretty warm here in Denver. It snows at night and melts the next morning. It was 57 degrees today. However, I get my share of snow when I visit Lucas! Lately, I just have been working. I have made a few friends and have found my way around. Oliver is great- he is walking now. We still attend music and play and learn classes. Also, we are active members of the Children's Museum and Aquarium in Denver. One night in Breck there was a full moon. So LBK and I decided to take a 2 hour walk. It was an amazing view. With the light from the moon reflecting off the snow, it looked like dusk not midnight. We walked up over a pass and looked down over the town all lite up. It was great. On our way down from the mountain I kept falling. Finally I fell and started to sled down on my butt and yelled back to Lucas, "Meet you at the bottom". :) It was pretty funny. I also made some new girlfriends. One day they took me to the clue sledding hang out. The hill was steep and fast. It was a work out just walking up to the top. Anyways here are some recent pictures. Enjoy.

2 minute drive from LBK's. One of my favorite spots in Breck. It overlooks the resort and town! Beautiful during the day and night.
