Thanksgiving Week!

Hello dearies,
This week, I only worked half a week which was glorious! I got out early on Wednesday and headed up to Breck for the long weekend. Ashley was still here so we got to hang out some more. Lucas, Ashley, and I went on a hike up the mountain at Hoosier Pass. I felt like my lungs were going to collapse (good thing I have two optimistic people hiking with me). Later that night we all hung out back at Lucas's and built a fire and sat around and enjoyed each other's company. It was nice to be with my best friend again. On Thanksgiving, we took Ashley to the airport and headed back up the mountain. Lucas baked his amazing pies all day and we spent Thanksgiving with some of his friends. His friends are professional chefs so the food was fantastic! It was very nice however alittle challenging for me being away from home. I missed the traditional family unity. But all the while it was great to spend the holiday with Lucas in Breck. The weekend was very relaxing. I read alot and knitted by the fire. I only have a few pictures but hope you enjoy. Miss everyone and be home over Christmas!

Lucas gave me a piggy back ride up the mountain because I was exhausted. I'm a lucky woman!

<3 DISNEY <3

Hi lovebugs,
This week we traveled to Sunny Florida. We stayed in Orlando, just 5 minutes away from Disney. I had my own condo room equipped with a couch, king size bed, bathroom, and kitchen. I felt like a princess! :) They also rented me my own car incase I wanted to do some exploring myself. It was an amazing trip. I had Oliver for half days so I was free to do whatever I wanted the rest of the time. I went to all the Disney parks and other days I slept in and hung around the condo. I took Oliver to Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom. I went to MGM and Epcot by myself. O loved the dumbo ride. One night Shanna, Walt, O, and I went to Magic Kingdom and watched the fireworks and the light parade. The parents are fantastic. We get along great and I feel really comfortable with them. They treat me great! I am falling in love with Oliver. He is so happy (even though he is teething). He has his moments though! :) I flew back in a after 7 days in Florida and drove up to Breckenridge to visit Lucas and ASHLEY came to Colorado so I got to visit with her. It was so nice to see my best friend! I had to leave the next day though because it was back to work. Hope you enjoy the pictures. :)

New Beginnings!

Hi Loves,
I am officially settled in my new "home". I still have one more box of clothes to unpack (imagine that) but besides that I am all unpacked and loving it. Last week, I flew in on Monday and started work on Tuesday. Oliver is 13 months with blonde hair and blue eyes. He is always happy. He takes two naps a day and sleeps all night until 8 am. I've enrolled him in a music class and a gym class for toddlers at Gymboree. We also got a membership to the Children's Museum and The Denver Aquarium. He did his first piece of artwork...finger painting. I am finding my way around Denver. I've only gotten lost in my neighborhood. The house is beautiful and has an amazing view of the mountains. I have my own room and bathroom that is cozy and is equipped with a flat screen tv with DVR and a remote control to the light and fan! This weekend, I went up to Breckenridge to visit Lucas. :) The drive is amazing however, it is going to take some getting used to. Mountain driving is not my thing. It was opening weekend for the ski resort so there was some traffic. But other than my anxiety driving up and down the mountains, my weekend was fabulous. I hope yours was too.

Chanell
